After the 2005 Wing Bowl, they pretty much put the kibosh on tailgating. The parking lots used to open at midnight, and by 3am it was anarchy. Now the lots I believe open at 4. That might’ve killed a lot of the crazy buzz that used to exist for Wing Bowl.

Don’t forget the now-defunct Trenton Titans and Sun Arena as part of that late 90's minor league stadium boom. The only thing that arena seems to host now are the occasional WWE house show and the Harlem Globetrotters. There was a low-level arena football team league there for a like a minute as well.
