As far as I know the only penalties that can be reversed in such a situation are minors against the team scored upon. Just about anything else stands.

I used to agree on not bringing gloves to the game, but having very nearly taken a line drive foul ball directly to the face at a minor league game this summer, I’ve softened on that. If you’re sitting in a foul area behind the dugout, I say go for it, if anything for some personal protection.
