This game SCREAMS of a Japanese company desperately coming to grips with a modern gaming industry. Its like Square is looking at Konami completely giving up on consoles, Nintendo going off to focus and dominate on 1st party and niche markets, and the surge of “Western” games topping charts that they tried desperately…

I remember reading about how the French Revolution was inspired by us as a kid in school. I’m hoping that we are where this backwards momentum stops and our children will read about how America overturned this feverish nationalism in 2017.

Well said. I’ve noticed that a lot more lately in the media where whenever someone says something offensive they fall back to, “IT WAS A JOKE KEK”. You can only fall back on that so much but we keep giving people a pass.
