The history of exclusives is what lead me to my purchases in the first place too. Halo 5 MP was a blast. The campaign dissapointed me to no end but that’s a totally different story (I’m probably too fanboy at this point for that series to be neutral).

I do not complain when new PC hardware comes out. Consoles are a totally different market. If they will not become sound investments, I will cease to invest in them. That simple. My opinion and I provided a lot more details in various comments above and below.

My concern is around the value of these new consoles going forward period. I’ve found myself spending way more money than I need to for a few exclusives because the platform itself inherently offers me no additional benefits that I can’t get anywhere else at a fraction of the cost.
