You realize Frank O' Conner is from Bungie and half the team is too right? Its not like 343 is just a bunch of randos they handed the title over to. Frankie and a few others are specifically there to fact check the lore and if anything breaks continuity.

Logically if you're aiming it should be more "precise". However this is actually changing the physical "spread" of the weapon not making it easier to zero a target. That's not right.

The DMR/Sniper/BR/Carbine/Rocket all have targeting reticules/scopes on them. The Spartans use it (whether they smart link INTO the scope through a feed I'm not 100% actually o.o)

It is from the universe itself. The Magnum's zoom is designed specifically to work with the Spartan HUD. There is no zoom on the pistol for a marine.

You get knocked out of it the minute you're dinged by a shot. This basically makes it so that if you get the jump you're rewarded and the initiative carries through. Head to Head or once the enemy turns around, you're toe to toe and trying to smart-link back in is just foolish.

The Campaign's were not falling apart. The Multi-player was. Metal Gear never had multiplayer across all its titles and the one that did was atrocious. I still love MGS, I don't need fanboys slapping me around.

At this point I think people are just grasping at straws to put down Destiny. I have a LOT of issues with Destiny (and this seems like we're just trying to kick it while it is already down) but thinking about the genre itself this is one thing Bungie actually handled very well.
