Sara moving around the room was great. not just for the, uh, outfit, but also a good reminder that yes, SHE’S A NINJA.

This show makes such an effort to show diverse characters in all walks of life (age, race, size, sexuality, etc) except for financial IMO. Sure we’ve got William and his neighbors, but I don’t think the show’s doing much of a job portraying income issues all in all. With William the storyline was (rightfully so) on

I hadn’t watched last week’s episode so I watched both back-to-back last night, and it occurred to me one of the reasons why I watch this show out of obligation instead of really enjoying it. The Flash has always been one of my favorite superheroes, a noble, true superhero with god-like abilities. In the TV show, they

Biggest twist? Did people not see it coming that Nicky was still alive?  If so, I have to think this is the first TV show they’ve ever watched.

What a clunker. Randall is being written in a way that completely contradicts the first two seasons of his actions to manufacture drama with Beth and his family (that scene with Tess was fucking ridiculous and angering). This politics storyline has absolutely killed what was one of the two big reasons to watch the

Here i thought the twist was going to be that Jack is actually Rocky Balboa’s son and has a whole other family

I was glad to see Randal’s campaign crash and burn, and of course he can’t admit he’s wrong, because everything is about him all the time. He was even talking over Tess as she was trying to explain her struggle.

Anyone else pause/watch frame-by-frame Sarah dropping from the ceiling, just to see if it’s really still Caity Lotz doing all her own stunts and NOT to get a closer look at her non-work, happy-birthday outfit?

I’ll probably repeat this when i09 reviews this episode in a few days.  Mona calling Nora and Ray “this generation’s Ross and Rachel” bothered me.  Ross and Rachel were HORRIBLE to each other.  They were both toxic people in a never ending competition to see who could be the bigger terrible person.

I do appreciate that, this season, we got to spend a decent amount with c-listers like Brick, Bronze Tiger, and Stephen Amell’s Wrestler Friend. It makes me sad about China White’s all-to0-brief return in season five.

Can we talk about J’onn and his hats? First it was a fedora, now he’s moved onto cowboy hats, what’s next, a fez?

this is the first big miss of the season for me. Kara holds the Idiot Ball- seriously, if you’re not going to call the DEO to go raid a secret terrorist base on a secluded island, why are you working with the DEO? And then James holds it even harder- you’re seriously going to blow up a monument because some fucking

1: Nice touch: Kara pulling the burning pie out of the oven with her bare hands.

Yeah like I know this show doesn’t know the definition of subtly but I would like if they would just reign it in enough for them to actually stop and think about some of their analogies sometimes.

Wow, just realised that in almost everything in the past two decades that I’ve seen James Marsden act in, he’s always cast as the nice handsome dude who on paper is perfectly fine for the leading lady. And yet, he’s not quite what she wants, and he ends up being more into her than she is into him.

Can I say that the thing I hate most about this movie is that Andie is an incognito “cool girl”? The idea of the cool girl is so destructive. I used to have buddies who subscribe to the theory that every girl they valued had to be, “Ya know...down to go out and just act like one of the boys.”

What I want to know is: what god do I have to pray to to wake up tomorrow looking like MM?

It just kills me that the protagonist in all these is always a journalist, or a blogger, or writing some sort of book. And always a goofy, good time gal from a small town just trying to make it in the big city. The love interest is always a charming ne’er do-well with a heart of gold and a tragic secret.  For all the

So many rom-coms based on self-help books, and yet this classic has never had an adaptation:

I like that “Main in Manhattan” features undisguised TTC busses and “Toronto Sun” newpaper boxes on the street. I like seeing my city in movies and recognizing places, but I also just appreciate the “eh, no one will notice” that went into that.
