I’ve worked closely with Muslims for the past few years (halal restaurants and a halal wholesaler), I have number of Muslim friends, from many different countries, and not one of them has ever expected others to refrain from eating just because they were fasting.

Hell even at a long term care center the cooks were making 13.50 an hour, and that was five years ago. And one of those cooks started as a diet aide (the ltc equivalent of a server).
