Wow, I don’t know if it’s the recent turnover in writers, but more and more I find myself really surprised at the tone of Jezebel’s articles. This is extremely unnecessary, and I hope you’re never confronted by something like this when you ultimately lose a loved one.

The apple is for display in your mouth after you finish the meal and are spit-roasted as the next meal.

We got two.

It was when they threw in the towel on blogs and decided to prioritize mainstream media. The whole blogging industry took a bath overnight. My personal blog, because it was so frequently updated and newsy, used to hit the front page of Google on a regular basis for top stories. They made that switch and I never saw

Umm... look around you. We’re surrounded by idiots. Remember how there were a lot of dumb people at your high school that never learned anything? That’s the American public.

Bullshit, regarding Sinclair. My parents live in rural Nebraska where Sinclair bought out the local television station. The batshit, scripted on-air announcements that all Sinclair-owned stations read a few months ago + the bizarre, daily broadcast canned statement to the effect of “it’s our duty to analyze and hold

The New York Daily News was not killed by a fucking market correction. Sinclair Media is not a fucking market correction. Peter fucking Thiel is not a fucking market correction. Fuck off with this “well, that’s just how it is” bullshit. This is a goddamn siege, and takes like this are how we’re losing it.

For journalists covering national news... Sure, I guess.

I actually worked in tech for more than a decade so I found the show hysterically funny and accurate. (Anyone who works in tech and tells you that things are greatly exaggerated on that show is full of shit.) Much of the humor for ME came from the digs AT Silicon Valley BY casting males and showcasing the many biases

I really didn’t love this last season. The only hilarious bit was the thinly veiled shade at Marrisa Mayer (former yahoo CEO), with Laurie Bream’s (spoiler) pregnancy/delivery in the first episode and her insistence that she needed almost zero time off. (Note: not making fun of women with ambition, but rather, the

Actually those do look mega-comfortable. I’d black out the stupid-looking hardware trim with nailpolish, and nobody would be the wiser. They’re also probably feather-light, which is excellent in a chunky heel.

Whenever fake bigmouth “patriots” start mouthing off about “illegals flouting our laws,” I’m always inclined to wonder how things would look if we took a peek into their own criminal history and the way they live their lives. I’d be willing to be that in virtually every case, we see someone who flouts US law on a

My problem with these books, and “badass” girl culture in general, is that it still puts the onus on women and girls to beat society at its own game, instead of on society (i.e. men and boys) to change.

Give the people what they want:

Oh sorry, we should’ve mentioned the loaded fries at Spago.

The problem I have with this is it seems that over the last decade or so, all products are using the lowest quality possible to sell at the highest price. Some of the items that have lasted me the longest are things I got super cheap, and some expensive items are useless in a short amount of time. This goes for

Going out to eat was not a thing we did regularly when I was a kid- unless it was the neighborhood pizza place or a very special occasion before which we were lectured that we had to be on our best behavior or we would have to go sit in the car while everyone else got to enjoy a nice meal and lose future restaurant

In this comment section, people acting like they also weren’t little shits when they were kids.

It’s actually not a huge problem. I’m sure there are bad parents with loud kids out there, but most children are well-behaved enough for the category of restaurant.
