One of the times I cried was Diana's pure joy at seeing a baby, because of course she'd never seen one before in real life. And then again at the ice cream scene, because that is Diana - exuberant and sincere.

There was a little girl who came with a big Wonder Woman fleece blanket to the showing I went to on Friday morning. She was absolutely spellbound the whole time.

Yes! It's very much a standalone movie, which gives it a lot of rewatchability for me. It's its own story and doesn't try to be more. God, I can't wait to go see it again.

I saw fanart of Supergirl and Wonder Woman eating ice cream together that was just adorable.

Those are my only real nitpicks about the movie, but honestly? I'm not even bothered. That's how much I loved it.

Yeah, I love the first Captain America movie more than a lot of people do, but I think this did it better.

This movie surpassed my expectations to give me something I only ever previously dreamed of getting - a good, solid superhero movie featuring a female hero who is unconflicted about it, is a complete person rather than a construct or mere love interest, and acts as someone we should all aspire to be. It was like

I'm laughing hysterically because I don't even remember that conversation with this Vogon asshole AT ALL. But yes, now that he mentions it, I do think rapists should have a dry stale baguette shoved up their asses. As for Wonder Woman, well - that's just him projecting his kink onto the rest of us. ;)

It depends. Not everyone who goes through a traumatic experience winds up with PTSD. Most people who experience trauma may deal with Acute Stress Disorder first, which can occur in the first month after the event, but typically ASD really only affects up to about 30% of people. PTSD isn't usually diagnosed until after

Glad to hear that you and your family are okay, and that last night's concert has been helping.

I also really loved Etta Candy, and the way she was handled - neither Diana nor she showed any jealousy or rivalry at all, and she wasn't a fat-joke punchline either.

I fucking loved Wonder Woman so much, dude. It was so clearly directed by a woman, and although I generally enjoy superhero movies, this is the first one that actually felt like it was meant for me. Gal Gadot embodied everything I wanted to see in Diana and so much more. Chris Pine was also amazing as Steve Trevor -

I say let 'em come for me.

What flaws?

Darling, everything goes with green.

It's mostly just funny to me because these same assholes seem to think that women naturally have glitter-covered eyelids and pink-purple ombre lips and act totally shocked that we don't, and somehow this translates to us "lying".

I guess so? My mom let me play with her old makeup when I was little. I couldn't wear it in middle school, but that was just the rules there, and I've been wearing it consistently since high school. I did attend an all-girls high school, so it certainly wasn't for boys! And my dad never cared one way or another what I

Wonder Woman, dude! She's not conflicted about being a hero, she doesn't have a tragic past, she just does it because it's right.

I can't even take this douche seriously. I started laughing by the time I got to women learning to value make-up from a young age to present themselves as better than they really are. Yeah, that's why I have 12 different shades of red lipstick. It's to impress men.

Oh, he doesn't want to see it. He just doesn't want women to have anything for themselves.
