I’ve literally been able to carry my Switch in my pants,
I’ve literally been able to carry my Switch in my pants,
I don’t get how the Switch, which is smaller than my iPad, is not considered a portable but somehow my iPad is.
If you have a cat like mine who insists on pawing the nearest thing to clean their paws, you might want to give the general area a wipe-down with some cleaner.
Restaurants here in California are still allowed to use single-use plastic bags.
It’s nice to see ray tracing being used to not build a land of chrome. And if it’s not ray tracing, then that’s a pretty impressive GI system.
I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a copy of the check in some form or fashion. But I’ve only had to start paying stuff with them since around 2006, but it was also just for rent and I was close enough to the landowner that they’d just call/email me if something was wrong so I never really bothered to look.
I don’t know if all financial institutions do this, but when my checks get cashed out (I mostly write one for my apartment rent), my bank includes a picture of the check itself with the endorsement. I find this works nicely as proof the recipient (or someone) both received and cashed out the check, though I never had…
... especially something as cool as a 4K version of the most iconic platformer of all time.
Honestly, that example looks kind of meh. It makes the carpet look wet.
I think I somehow missed it, but the person quoted in the article did say their case has poor airflow. I could assume they DIY built their PC and this should be a learning experience to get a case with good airflow first, but I could also give them the benefit of the doubt in the event the PC was from a system…
Disclaimer: I’m not condoning Riot’s software doing the above in the complaints.
Even connecting a 100 Watt USB Type C-Power Delivery charger to a USB 2 Type C port won’t brick the device behind that port and that’s the important thing.
As much as I don’t want to kill them, the fact that I have a stinging bug around me is going to fuel my adrenaline and FoF instincts so much that I won’t make a sound decision.
Overall my spending hasn’t changed much since I’m still allowed to work at my office. We can WFH, but there are several reasons why I chose to come in the office.
The neat thing is the Japanese honeybee can fight these guys off by literally vibrating them to death (okay, they technically roast and suffocate the scout before it can send a signal). But nobody really cares for the Japanese honeybee because apparently they’re less productive than European ones.
I get that, but at least I know HDMI is almost always an audio an video thing and a CAT cable is generally used for networking.
Universal to me doesn’t mean it can do it. It means it does do it. If a connector claims it can do X, Y, and Z, it’s only universal if it does do X, Y, and Z no matter where I come across this connector. I don’t have to think about it. If I have to look at a spec sheet to figure out if the connector does do X, Y, and…
If you’re going to make a universal connector, don’t make more than 75% of its features optional. At least with Type A, you can still figure out if the connector is at least USB 2.0 and 3.0 and not worry about if the thing supports any alt modes. Not to mention there’s the issue with cabling itself, I imagine…
As exciting as it is, I still find USB-C a terribly flawed in that I have no idea what a given USB-C port will support other than USB 2.0. It requires feature symbology to tell me what it supports and even then, it may not convey enough information about what level of feature that is. Sure it might have a DisplayPort…
Even despite the high barrier of entry for PC gaming VR, VR has its niche uses that may not make sense for everyone or for everything. Plus it’s one of those things you have to setup and tear down in some form or fashion, depending on the app.
