As the article said, Sony are marketing the Vita as a replacement for the PSP and have made it backwards compatible, yet you're stuck with all your UMDs and no way to move completely over to the Vita without paying for your games again. Still struggling? Maybe we can get

Sony originally announced the system would be compatible with PSP games. They then changed that to say downloadable only. They then said they would charge you for it. Then they changed their mind and said Japan only. If you've already got a PSP game on UMD, the only way to get that game again is to pay for it.
