Although, not every song in the movies are on Spotify either, so, you have work to do either way if you're a completist.

You guys, I doubt this guy spent years hunting for a song that's listed in the credits. He's almost certainly talking about a piece of Mark Mothersbaugh's score that plays after "Everyone", that wasn't included on the soundtrack album release (hence his mention of the Oscar promo).

Hah, nobody who watches Girls loves Marnie.

And his cousin Philip!

The only time I've seen The Thing was in shitty streaming quality on a laptop, so this theory may hold water.

Anyone who seriously fires "pearls before swine" is generally a creep, but those are my three favorite Kubrick movies, so you get a pass, ya creep.

I used to think this too, but The Shining is one of the few movies I've seen that I've gotten more out of with every subsequent viewing. I used to be very underwhelmed by it, but after watching it every other Halloween over the last several years, I've had to admit to myself that it's a masterwork.

I don't know about "better" or "scarier", but those are definitely my three favorite horror movies.

That "student film" quote is basically spot on.

I don't remember there being grisly, ritualistic monster murders in Portal.

Yeah, they were all really weak jokes. The most worrying thing about these tweets is that it reinforces my previous notion that Noah isn't funny enough to host The Daily Show.

Cenac would have been good, but Williams was definitely my #1 choice.

Last Week Tonight has nearly made me cry almost every episode. It's that affecting. Having an entire week to prepare segments is clearly an asset.

Yeah, she said she felt she wasn't qualified. I know she's going to do amazing things etc. etc. But ever since Oliver left, she's been the best voice on the show.

Ugh. His comedic timing is kind of terrible. Every segment he's had on the show has gotten stiff, awkward laughs.

I think I've been in love with her ever since watching Crystal Fairy & the Magical Cactus.

Wasn't he also briefly in Baumbach's last film? Frances Ha?

I may hate Jessa, but damn is she funny. Her eagerness to see a dilated vagina was just delightful. As was the fact that she tied her hair back to dunk her head underwater and look at a baby's foot emerging from a woman's vagina.
