yeah, this still bothers the hell out of me. especially if you're not putting quotes around both words, you would at least get results for "burgle" and "gloria" separately.

Surprised so many people enjoyed this horribly-written episode. Two new magical POC characters that only exist to support the white regulars in their hour of need (1. pawn shop guy who patiently delivers therapy to Marnie, 2. audition girl who apparently has zero friends or life of her own to worry about, but appears

Right?? Easily my favorite label these days. I wish I'd gone to the festival they put on

The cool thing about Sammus is she's got like, several songs about mental health (songs about mental health that you can dance to)

"Mighty Morphing" should be the official black girl nerd anthem, if only because its entire thesis is "black girl nerds are more than just black girl nerds"

Chung himself is apparently pretty taken with Wong Kar-Wai.

Yeah, at least half of the shows I've seen them play in town were to support Don Giovanni touring bands (which like, duh, makes sense)

Whoa, I love Izzy True! Literally just saw them last night in Ithaca!!

The problem with this is that David Brent was only half of what made The Office such a good show. The dynamic between Tim and Dawn was the heart of the show (and the show rightly ended when they finally got together).

"So, how are we going to turn a profit from this DreamWorks purchase?"
"I think it goes without saying we should make more Shrek movies."
"What? But Shrek has been steadily underperforming as a franchise. When DreamWorks continued to churn out sequels—"
"No that's okay let's just make more Shrek movies"
"But sir—"
"AREN'T

I mean, Jay Leno got one, so I assume they're just giving them out to everybody one year at a time at random

Such a beautiful song. Definitely in my top 5 from the album.

"Meaningless" is maybe my favorite track on the album. So good.

I've enjoyed every single Magnetic Fields album except for Love at the Bottom of the Sea. Except for "Andrew in Drag", it's an atrocious disappointment. Shrill, annoying, and heartless.

The problem is that the first two seasons of Adventure Time are, unfortunately, not as great as people like to remember. It gets amazing later on.

Seriously, so cynical. I saw Jeff solo and then NMH during the reunion "cycle" and I loved the communal sing-along quality of it, especially when Jeff did a solo show. It was beautiful and spiritual. Felt like church. I cried.

"The potato"? It's a drumhead.

This is easily the best episode of the season, anyway.

I was with you until Jessa on the swing confronting her dad. The tormented "I'm the child" line read as such shitty acting to me, I couldn't buy it at all. That's still one of my least favorite episodes.

"Does this mean we’ll never have to see Desi again? Yes?"
