I finished Child of God.  I liked it a lot, though I have to admit that it really caught me off-guard and that I was genuinely uncomfortable reading through much of it.  It's definitely the funniest book about necrophilia that I've ever read.

Well, the other problem with Olympos (apart from what's already been covered) was that it completely shit the bed plot-wise.  It just sort of ended.

I absolutely understand that idea, but if someone feels that way, it seems like they'd be more likely to have a serious problem with this type of genre in general.  I thought it seemed odd that, out of all the terrible things in Roth's films, he chose that as the thing that crossed the line.

I love all the Greyjoy chapters, and the Drowned God stuff in particular.
