Excellently put, Clover. You can point to sexism and the presence of third-party candidates—and certainly these were factors in what occurred—but what’s clear from exit poll demographics is that the largest element to this election was race. White women, SMDH.

One thing’s for sure: the DNC needs to kick vile asshats like Donna Brazile and DWS to the curb permanently. Not only are these people corrupt but their chicanery actively hurt the party’s chances by impugning its candidates’ integrity.

How about just...don’t wear legible clothing? Whether it’s the name of the sports team you identify with, the brand name you want everyone to know you’re wearing, or some indicium of which stupid person you’re with...I dunno, have some pride in your own identity without cleaving it to something else.

Not only would this have been the right thing to do, it would have been the smart thing to do. She and her campaign managers had to have known even then that integrity was going to be a perceived weak point of hers and voluntarily and pro-actively coming clean on this impropriety would have made her shine.
