I learned to drive in a four-cylinder XT with the pistol grip stickshift. Even the flat-four had more torque than the car needed (it was uber-light), so I learned clutch-finesse right from the start. As a novice, you had two choices in first gear: stall it (and get whiplash), or do a FWD burnout. I spent several

"It's fun telling people you go to McDonald's; they always give that look like, 'Oh, I didn't know I was better than you!' No admits to going to McDonald's! They sell six billion hamburgers a day, there's only three hundred million people in this country. I'm not a calculus teacher, but I think everyone's lying!"

Officially my new battle cry. +1

Did anyone else see the name Alexei Volkov and immediately think of Timothy Dalton on Chuck?

Nok Air's bird-based cattle-cars. Sure, it's cheap, and it's only one available class for seating (coach), but it's the most light-hearted way to hop across Thailand: in the belly of a bright green or pink bird. Bonus: the way the beak is painted on the nose right under the cockpit windshield makes it look like the

My dad and I always used to joke that the giant boom that the Enterprise made when going into warp was the sound of every crew member slamming into the back of the ship.
