I understand and appreciate that, however your pipes are pointing the wrong way for them to be effective on the freeway.

I’m not much of a beer drinker — BUT! — if I’m ever in the area I’ll stop by.
There are noise limits on bikes — at least in CA — and for some reason they’re quite a bit higher than for automobiles.
Cool! I live in Sunnyvale but a few of my friends live in the neighborhood between Capitol and Branham near 87.
I actually smile when I see a biker throw up a deuce or point or wave. That’s some genuine gratitude right there.
You know what? I’ve been a licensed driver for 13 years now. I have never once heard a loud motorcycle before I saw it. I’m not saying I’m hyper vigilant of motorcycles, just that the exhaust noise reverberates backward from the bike, not forward.
A neighbor of mine has a cruiser with straight pipes. Every morning at 7AM my fillings get rattled out of my teeth.
Did you misread my comment?
Thanks man. I’ve been known to throw back an Old Fashioned from time to time at Branham Lounge in San Jose, CA. See ya there maybe.
I’m from CA too!
There is nothing that makes me want to say “fucking dumbass bastard douche bag” faster than a bike with loud-ass pipe rolling down the street.
I fucking love this.
I could not stop listening to it...
Kat.
I just said this out loud.
Even in CA in the winter the mornings can be bad (though not as bad as for you!) We preheat the car while it’s charged but we do wish we had found a cloth/heated seat car. We did find one early in our search but it had 48k miles on it and was listed for $20k.
Not to mention dropping the 91 octane requirement!
We live in California and had to extend our search to every state west of the Mississippi to find a blue base model (wife did NOT want leather) with the white trim. Luckily we only had to fly to and drive it back from Colorado (about 1000 miles).
We got our 2012 off lease last September for 18k. Super deal if you ask me.
