I can’t see what all the cards were, but the few I saw from the TV commercial were from late Sun & Moon to early Sword & Shield era cards. While cards based on the Starters are slightly more valuable than generics like Tynamo and Lapras, they all are incredibly common cards, while the cards people tend to spend tons

Why are you bringing up those shows? Have you never actually looked at HBO Max? It’s not HBO and HBO only on there. Most of the stuff on there ISN’T HBO.

Apparently, Zaslav has major respect for the guy in charge of HBO, so that channel is basically immune to whatever cost cutting is going on with the rest of Warner.

It was called HBO Max because focus groups reacted more positively to the name “HBO” than “WB.” Hence why HBO Max is the central hub for all of Warner’s output, including DC, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, etc. Unless you think Dexter’s Laboratory, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Young Justice, South Park, Babylon 5, Superman &

HBO and HBO Max are two different things. HBO is the premium streaming channel. HBO Max is WB’s equivalent to Paramount+ or Disney+ or Netflix.

Embracer is just what the latest parent company name is. You are probably more familiar with their subsidiaries THQ Nordic, Deep Silver, and Koch Media.

So, just to clarify for those who are on the outside, none of the cards involved in these McDonald’s promos are truly exclusive to the meals. All of the cart art is reprinted from common cards from recently released sets, usually of small, unevolved Pokémon, but the holo ones have a slightly different holo design than

HBO itself is still around. In fact, it’s virtually the only Warner division that isn’t being heavily cut down.

Cartoon Network was really, really terrible about advertising their shows that aren’t Teen Titans Go or Amazing World of Gumball.

“it comes down to $105 for one year with no ads or $70 for one year without ads.”

I’m pretty sure over 50% of their studios have less than 100 employees, maybe even less than 50.

I completely forgot they were the ones Square sold Eidos to.

Subway’s bowls have been around for ages, so likely enough people order it to justify buying the plastic bowls.

The Lord of the Rings thing is pretty surprising. If WB wasn’t in a death spiral, I’d have to imagine they would have snapped up the rights.

More than likely, public domain wouldn't matter. It would be similar to Winnie the Pooh or Wizard of Oz, the book versions would be free for everyone to use, but the versions people are familiar with will remain with the current holders.

It is amazing how much HBO Max's reputation has been shredded in the past few months. Good work, Zaslav!

Except most of Piccolo’s actual “dad” moments were anime-only. Pre-Buu, the only moments were him sacrificing himself for Gohan in the Saiyan Saga, and then him bitching to Goku about using Gohan’s anger to defeat Cell. In the former, it’s a great moment, but it’s kind of cancelled out because getting there meant

It’s anime-canon since it was referenced both in the original anime and in Kai.

Yea, gonna have to disagree there. I hated World’s Strongest Abridged. There’s a handful of positives here and there, but overall I found it to be one of the weakest DBZA entries TFS put out. Also not a huge fan of Tree of Might Abridged, either, since it went to the Black Comedy well far too much, IMO.

I’m sorry... da fuck is this list? Path to Power in the bottom third? World’s Strongest in the middle of the pack? Broly: Second Coming and Resurrection F in the Top 10? I don’t agree with TFS on a lot of stuff regarding Dragon Ball, but their movie ranking list I do largely agree on.
