You do realize it’s possible to make two different articles, right? One which is only a few sentences long and essentially says “Our colleague has passed away. We will have our rememberance post later, but for now, here is his GoFundMe” and another that has the longer memories and stories (aka this article).

People weren’t bitching at the lack of full on remembrance posts. Literally all people wanted was a short acknowledgment and a link to the GoFundMe. It would have taken less than 2 minutes to write and post and there wouldn’t have been any furor whatsoever.

Yea, I always forget about GoFundMe.

The absolute bare minimum anyone expected is “RIP Mike Fahey, a valued writer at Kotaku. His death was announced on Twitter via his family.” And then post the tweet.

Hours? The tweet announcing it was 3 days ago.

There’s actually some different puzzles in the dungeons in this game that isn’t in Zelda. Also, it’s a bit more story heavy and has a Princess Bride-like framework where the entire game is just a story a grandpa is telling to his grandchildren.

There are already three shops that do rotating, this is simply adding a fourth.

This one does have crunch, but a lot of it depends on what sauce you get. The rubs will give you more crunch than the wet stuff.

Except the Sacred Texts weren’t destroyed. Rey took them. And that’s not a retcon from Rise, that was shown in TLJ.

HMs were lessened in X/Y, re-assigned to a separate device in Sun/Moon, and basically excised completely since then, outside of equivalents to Surf and Fly.

Gen 4 was WAY worse with HMs. Need I remind you that both the Sinnoh games AND the Johto remakes required you to have Rock Climb in your party?

I miss when they gave away little figures for pre-ordering. Well, except for GameStop, who gave away your pre-order figure to whoever showed up first, regardless if they pre-ordered or not, while you were stuck at work, forcing you to  get the figure off eBay.
