In all fairness to Miyamoto, he is also the one that scrapped the original Wind Waker instrument. Instead of the baton in the final product, the Wind Waker was originally going to be a theremin that required you to sit the controller on a table and play by using your palms on the two joysticks.

And to think, Dragalia Lost lets you max a character out just by playing the dungeon crawler side mode a couple times. Doesn’t even use up stamina and you can outright skip 2/3 of it three times a day.
