As an S2000 owner, I’d recommend against any convertible if track days are a must. Most tracks nowadays require more rollover protection than stock roll hoops, and you generally have to take a sawzall to your interior to fit an aftermarket roll bar. It can also take a chunk out of legroom, and in my S2k, I’ve got

To clarify since it looks like the photo failed to load: Mustang Mach-E

There is one electric car currently (kinda) available that would fit the bill. Quick, enough range, head turning (especially in cyber orange), and can be had under budget in the right configuration and with the new federal EV incentives. Only question is whether it’s big enough on the inside. Just put in an order when

Strange that this seems to compete on price, fuel economy, and seating position with the ford maverick hybrid, yet the Toyota has AWD. Would love to see a direct comparison.

Wow that really does sound like an amazing deal, congrats!

Literally pasted an E38 grill over that monstrosity and moved the DRLs down. I assume BMW designers have access to better tools than MS Paint...

Agreed. It looks like more resources were devoted to that excellent photochop than the whole Chrysler brand.

Yeeeah not a fan, but I do appreciate that they’re being creative. They might be ok in silver or gray though (like others here, I’m looking forward to the black wheel fad dying).

Never before has there been a more appropriate time for me to act my age and throw the “back when I was your age” card. Thank you for this. Because I do remember walking a mile each way in the snow to middle school, lugging my trumpet over snow drifts. High school was farther, but because I wasn’t allowed to have my

Counterpoint to most comments: I’m honestly kind of glad that some people put dumb shit on their cars. At the end of the day, it 1) really doesn’t affect me, b) makes my cars look even better in comparison, and III - gives me additional insight about the owner (usually: they’re dumb, have terrible taste, and/or we

I think the Proto grill is a big improvement, for a couple of reasons:

Best time to buy a car is when you’ve just been laid off but are still receiving severance pay. Since you’re still technically receiving a paycheck from an employer, you’re more likely to get approved for financing!

Now playing

I blame Mr Regular for making one his best videos about the Bravada. It’s clearly the next Supra.

I preferred the lockable underseat storage drawer in third-gen Chrysler minivans for practicality, since you could access it when a passenger was in the seat. But I’m sure the dart didn’t have as much space to play with, so this is a neat solution too. Just a shame the rest of the car wasn’t as clever.

The second gen had so many neat interior tricks, like the fold down tray table center console and dash-mounted parking brake. Everything else about the car was bland and lame, but Honda really had some clever interior designers in that era. It was a shame that they seemed to ditch those unique features with the newer

Beat me to it! The magic rear seat gets all the attention (rightfully so), but this cup holder is genius. Better than the typical center console cup holders because it’s out of the way of the shifter, and you don’t have to take your eyes off the road to see it. The only thing it blocks is a vent, which can then be

This may be the right take. Nothing else will ever be an esprit, and finding a decent example isn’t too far out of reach. There are multiple runners that have sold on BaT recently for under $25k.

I feel like I had to scroll too far to find this. Wedgiest front-engine car I can think of, more modern than the previous gen and other radmobiles, and auto 2+2 is more affordable and reliable than the turbos. And you can always tell people that it’s got Lamborghini headlights!

+1 especially for a common car like the fiesta, those should be thick on the ground at junkyards. Here in the DC area, they’re all run by LKQ, and you can check their inventory online.

That was my first thought too, since the Forester is taller with more headroom than the outback (and more interior space is the primary reason he’s looking to trade up). And it beats the top selling CR-V and RAV4 for front seat dimensions as well.
