I’m still mad about the Nissan IDX

I’m still mad that Cadillac teased us with those beautiful concepts like the Ciel, Elmiraj, and even the Sixteen.

The road to hell, and mediocre design, is paved with the opinions of focus groups.

I agree. I’d wager very few buyers actively search for RWD these days. 99% of buyers in the snow belt won’t consider anything but FWD or AWD. I live in an area where weather doesn’t rule out RWD, but most of the near-luxury or luxury sedans I see are AWD. Pull up the local Mercedes dealer’s inventory and almost

All of the suggestions are bad and the people who made them should feel bad for suggesting them.

  • Customer: how long does it take to charge?

And the played out “looks like an Accord/Camry/Fusion/Altima” with the side profile shot just because it has a trunk and 4 doors.

I think it looks fantastic, but now I have no reason to buy it when I could buy so many other cars that have an automatic. I was one of the few people who tried to buy a previous generation with a manual, and I had only one condition, I didn’t want another black car. The only two manuals in the system were both black,

I think this looks great, but I’m just here waiting for all the comments about how this car is hideous.

Strong disagree, except for the part about fuccbois. It was the official car of fuccboidom circa 2010.

So dumb. Actual Silvias with real-deal SR20DET’s, minimal modifications and reasonable mileage are now easy to find from most of the JDM importers out there, at half this cost.

Agreed. 350s are still too common and the early model years are near bottom with the NA/NB Miatas (barometer for RWD meets enthusiast vs. hooligan).

We’re just gonna keep seeing more like this as wealth disparity increases. On one hand you’ve got people who can’t afford a $2500 Craigslist beater to get to work, on the other you have people for whom there’s no practical difference between dropping $6k or $60k on whatever toy currently tickles their fancy.

Drift tax seems to only apply to S-chassis and RWD Corollas.  I don’t think you’ll see much of it on a Z.

Palate cleanser

Located in Houston $15,000

And why doesn’t every vehicle have one?

So this is an extremely rushed photoshop job, but here’s what it could have looked like with a smaller grille. I literally grafted on the grille/middle bumper from the previous 4 Series lol.

Lexus should have killed the uglier, albeit better selling, ES and made all of those buyers get the RWD of the GS.

Just go buy a new Camry already and be happy with another trouble-free 15 years.
