First gear: Where’s the surprise there? We’ve known 37,500 in an “unofficial” capacity for months now.

Raider?

Yes, traditional SUVs have vast swaths of interior space. The micro CUVs that are all the rage these days are simply tiny. Rear passenger leg room is smaller than most sedans, space behind the seat is miniscule and even hip room is shrinking.

Whoa, you mean because they “need” one. ;)

True, but I bet shit tons of people lease them because they “just wanted an SUV”.

All-electric cars are a bigger jump than anything we’ve seen since the catalytic converter. Even if your power comes from the dirtiest, stankiest coal power plant in the US, your emissions are equivalent to those of a car making at least 100mpg. If your power comes from hydro, wind, nuclear, etc., your emissions are

My GF’s plug-in hybrid (a C-Max) doesn’t even run the gas engine unless she hits the highway. Around town, to work (5 mins each way) and to the store and for errands, it’s always in electric mode. She plugs it in every night, and that’s pretty much normal... the 87%. The gas is there for the not-normal stuff. She only

~16% of emissions fall on household cars. A small percentage, but far from insignificant. There are measures to reduce the emissions of industry, electricity generation, and other sources. This is a large problem with no single answer, but many small changes can add up. Perhaps we can think of it as a gram strategy.

Shep can hook them up with eLoops.

“Like what happened to landlines.”

Those are not considered maintenance items, they are considered repair items. Maintenance is things like oil, transmission fluid, and brake pads. Wheel bearings do go bad after a while, but they aren’t considered maintenance items.

“Only needed the engine replaced a few times” would not be passed off the same way.

i wont say if this guy is a dickhole, but there are certainly a number of reasons a person in his situation can be one. if he is only using it once or twice a month or something, it really should be stored elsewhere, not to appease any laws, or lack thereof, but just to be a personable and thoughtful neighbor/member

Don’t waste your time feeding the trolls. Both parties are dickholes, but that’s something you won’t understand until your old enough to care about other peoples’ POVs.

Honestly this is probably worse than a rusted out work van, this is the equivalent of having a semi-tractor trailer parked in your driveway. Aesthetically displeasing for sure. Neighbors are overreacting but nobody would think a giant trailer like that looks nice parked in front of their neighbor’s house.

No they wouldn't. Not having the legal recourse to do something about your neighbor being a dick, doesn't mean the neighbor isn't still a dick.

Don’t do that. While his neighbors were being over dramatic, don’t pretend like you don’t understand why his trailer would be objectionable.

It’s not just the tariffs, the UK has to import most of its raw materials such as iron and aluminum with the pound loss in value of 7% compared to the Euro those raw materials and any parts they import will cost more, then add in the tariffs to export to the EU.

Tesla being late to hit a target. Never heard that before.
