I'm not questioning the law - I'm questioning this self-righteous guy who goes tries to make a name for himself and is going after the people who don't set the policy. There are much better ways to handle this.

Ugh. This Seim guy is annoying as can be. Not to say that he isn't technically correct, but his approach self-obsession is obnoxious.
Mass transit, like literally every other form of transportation, is subsidized in part by the government. The difference for mass transit is that they're almost always in the negative because they don't charge a fair equivalent to their costs (nor should they), so moves like this are great.
At least the bumpers worked. Nowadays if you look at one the wrong way it gets a dent.
I wonder what equipment he wanted, because when I search truecar, the Ford doesn't come out as any more expensive for similar equipment setups I've tried...
DAMN. beat me to it. :)
Volkswagen Flounder?
Turnaround company = Both Fiat and Chrysler have been struggling in recent years, with Chrysler going bankrupt and Fiat darned close to it (if it wasn't for Fiat getting billions of dollars from GM prior to the global meltdown, they would have gone bankrupt, and even today they still struggle to reach a profit).

Once Jaguar and Land Rover were freed from the control of Ford they finally started making the cars we wanted them to make. An absolutely stunning turnaround.
1) Productive negotiations with politicians and the UAW.
B.B. doesn't ride in Camrys...
Step 5:
If you don't have an impact wrench and are a homeowner, just go get a cheap electric one from Harbor Freight instead of using the alternate method in the video. It should have the torque to do the job, and you can also use it to do things like break the anode rod loose from your water heater - those things can…
Alternative to #9 if your belt is still intact - get a paint pen and mark the old belt where the timing marks lie - you won't need to rotate the camshaft or crankshaft. Then transfer those marks to the new belt and install it so that the marks on the belt line up with the timing marks on the crank and the cam…
Just get yourself a factory (powered by onsite wind?) to produce the vegetable oil... :)
A Miata is nimble and lightweight, which makes it great for avoiding zombies, but what you really need in a zombie apocalypse is brute force. Trust me, I'm an expert. For that, you'd probably want a Hummer H1.
Would they prefer to discriminate against every minority? Maybe - it would mean more profits to them. Can they get away with discriminating against every single one? No way. And discriminating against 25% or 50% is just as illegal an immoral as discriminating against 100%.
The dealership should simply disclose to the customer a list of all the banks they work with and disclose every offer they get.
If they only want to work with one or two banks, fine - but they should make that clear to the customer AND disclose every offer they do get.
Re: #1) No one said that is a perfect method. If your last name is Johnson, you could be half a dozen different races, for example. However, just because they don't hit EVERYONE who is a minority with higher rates doesn't mean that they aren't still guilty of discrimination.
I'm fine without there being a flat rate - as long as the *total cost* to the buyer is clearly disclosed, which dealerships don't do. I think they should also collect race information (which they don't do for auto loans) going forward to make detection of discrimination easier. Then as long as they prosecute the…
According to other stories, two ways:
1) They use names. If your name is Park Lee, they are likely going to have a clue as to race. Same if your name is LaShaun.
2) The dealerships are accused of being in on it - the lender lets them set their own reserve in some cases - that's the portion of the interest the…
