Can anyone tell me what the hell the bloody lyrics were to his song? He seemed to have some, but damned if I could tell what they were...

I have a hard time finding reliable estimates for the 2.0 in other applications - mostly because sites like fuelly don't filter the engine option well. But I do have my own wild theory on why some people have problems with getting mpg out of their ecoboost engines while others report hitting marks without problems -

Yes, it was. Those were rated only at 28 hwy. I didn't even have to try to get 34 over several hundred miles, a fair patch of which was actually on rural country roads going in and out of towns (so not constant highway speeds and a few stops here and there)

If you need more control, you can use the S mode and the paddle shifters. Not exactly the same as 'low', but somewhat similar... The MKZ also has paddle shifters.

Frankly, I'd be stunned if you couldn't get 26 in this - I've managed 34 mpg highway on a long trip in a previous generation fwd Escape. It wasn't rated that high, but if real-world conditions only got you 26, that would be a huge step backwards, even with AWD.

Not an unusual angle for me... :)

That WILL be my band name now. :)

Yeah - that should put her upside down by roughly $10k, because $27.5k financed over 84 months at 19% would put the balance at $19,873.52 after 36 months. Take out $10k in resale and the negative equity is about $10k.

Seriously?

How is that even possible? The first model year for the 200 was 2011. Assuming that it's 3 years old now, she bought the top of the trim line (roughly $30k), and that she had an astronomical 16.07% APR (15% rate compounded), the balance on an 84 month term would be about $23,921. I can't believe the car would be

90 months is insane... but claiming it will be in the salvage yard before it is paid off? 90 months is 7.5 years. The *average* car lasts more than twice that long.

Why did Ford trail the market? Despite selling a ton of trucks this year, people seem to be waiting for the 2015 model.

You might want to get that looked at...

Used to train.

It isn't just battery tech that could change, but rather battery demands as well.

Not unreliable, but they are getting to be expensive by comparison. While Li-Ion prices keep dropping, nobody is investing in improving lead-acid production. So the price gap has closed dramatically - and as manufacturers look to save weight to boost fuel economy, the amount of price gap they'll tolerate before

The recyclers aren't closing in great numbers - its the smelters of virgin ore that are closing - the last one in the US is shutting down.

Nickel mining is nowhere NEAR as bad as it used to be. The Canadian mine used as "proof" of hybrids being nasty for the environment by some has cut its emissions by something like 97% since the 1960s. Of course the data from the 60s is what the anti-hybrid groups use for their proof.

But instead of making the Fusion go into hyperspace, all of these weight savings enabled Ford to take the old engine out, and throw in a little 1.0-liter, three-cylinder EcoBoost, while maintaining similar performance. So what you end up getting is a Ford Fusion that is much more fun to throw around, plus it gets the

When you really think about it - how much do you drive your car each day? Mine gets used to/from work. We're talking an hour's total use, tops, and the rest is a waste. I won't sign up for any service where I let other people use my vehicle during the downtime (damage/liability issues)... but if I could use a
