I'd say it's a little of both.... When I read this, my first thought was "is this guy being paid to bash this product?" . He's kind of making it sound like everyone agrees with this opinion and he's just echoing it... which is clearly not the case

Honestly I don't agree with the "biggest disappointment" claims, but it really should have had a better screen if they want to charge 100+ dollars more than the nexus 7 (which is its biggest competition) .
Wooooo!!!! I finally bought something that gizmodo doesn't think is the worst!
You should have returned it. That's what I did. No issues anymore.
Not that this is in any way scientific evidence, but I have a coworker who bought an ipad mini after much deliberation (and playing with my nexus 7) . He WAS a bit disappointed by the resolution compared to my 7, specifically in area of text readability. He considered returning it, but ended up sticking with the mini.…
Gizmodo's starting to turn into HP....
As someone with a One X, I don't need or want a 1080p screen. It'll just use more battery, processor power, and probably not be as bright as my current phone.
...hurry up and do what?
I'm more just curious why you guys keep doing these comparison reviews. We all knew before clicking on this that the ipad would, as usual, be declared the "best" tablet. And sure, it IS the best all-around tablet in the sense that you could buy -most- people an ipad and they'd be happy with it, but maybe what I'm…
"And by 'Everything' we mean 'a little bit' "
Ah, I got ya. Thought you meant voice recognition in general.
But doesn't google's maps app do that too? (Not that I care what app you use, as long as its reliable for you, just curious )
No, it's most definitely not.
I'm a bit confused here... I probably wont buy one because, while I LOVED the movies, I don't own any movie memorabilia. What confuses me though is, what exactly is wrong with this thing? Is it just the pricing?
Not sure if anyone else has said this or not, but if this were actually a missile test, you'd assume it wouldn't actually have a live warhead in it... right?
God, it's so hard to tell when people are being sarcastic on gizmodo....
Why not use something like Rdio?
I don't want to sound like a dick, but I want to make sure you don't continue making these mistakes. -much better network- THAN- Sprint- , and -needs to have a talking- TO-
While I agree , I'd replace "Spotify" with Rdio. I didn't care much for spotify after using Rdio for a good year or so before spotify came to the US. (my main isssues with spotify are the current lack of a web-based player, the idea that you need to put your music in playlists or "star" it in order to add it to your…
