While I was suprised that i'd see an article such as this about an apple product (they've all sort of felt like passes for me, but i'm an android type of person, so whatever) , Even I had higher expectations for this thing. I went and tried one out at my local best buy this afternoon and was almost surprised at how

everything's a conspiracy...

then buy it. What they're saying is that its just an ipad 2 with minor upgrades (depending on how big or small of an upgrade you consider a retina display to be) . Since its so similar to the ipad 2 though, you're basically making the decision "are these features worth paying 100 dollars more?" . The ipad is sort of

I'm just saying that a lot of photographers KNOW the differences between film and digital and still choose digital for the reasons I mentioned. I wouldn't say they're doing so blindly though because they know the advantages and disadvantages of both mediums and still choose digital over film. Not saying film is bad or

whoever's marketing it decides the line. In this case, they're calling it both. We don't have to agree with that, however.

glad you said this. The other day my brother was trying to convince me that 100% better was 100 times the original...

probably because there's not much money to be made selling film these days

I would say its the opposite of "blindly moving on" . If film was faster, cheaper, easier than digital, I'd maybe agree with you, but don't get all high and mighty because some of us prefer digital.

yeah, its a great screen , is the resolution as good though ? that's kind of the big reason I'm still a little jealous of my brother's iphone vs. my EVO...

looked alright until I clicked to enlarge it.

Hey people who think cameras on tablets are stupid; Do you have a job? Do you use a tablet? Do you use your tablet at your job? Now isn't it convenient to have a camera built into a device that you may also be using to take notes, look up assembly instructions or part specifications on? Maybe I need to take a picture

I love my sodastream. I even carbonated beer with it once (and got beer everywhere as a result... I don't recommend you carbonate beer with it) . What I hate is that they keep making better versions and now mine feels old already. Still works great though! Kind of wish there was a place to find recipes for making

let's quit it with this... Every review I've heard of the galaxy note has said that they've been able to fit it in their pocket just fine (i'm imagining we're not talking women's jeans though, becuase their pockets are just for show) . I wont be buying a Note becuase its just too big for my tastes, but i can't think

but its also a small tablet.

I don't quite understand why android tablet/phone makers haven't started doing "retina" displays yet... The one thing I don't love about the new iPad is that its an iPad... (for the usual reasons)

strange.... Yeah, I thought I remembered it looking nicer and the one day it was just different and seemd to use space really inefficiently for a 10" widescreen

Xoom (sorry, I guess you're probably wondering if i'm running gingerbread or not. I've got ICS on it right now but its an AOSP build, although the google apps should be the most current ICS apps)

since we're talking about the android market , i've got a quick question for anyone here with an android tablet. Does your market homescreen show up (in landscape mode) with empty black bars on the sides ? I thought the market used to fill the whole screen (which it still does on the pages that show lists of apps) but

why, is that a mac behind it?

I heard she showed less in playboy than in these photos
