While there is a frustration level to overly difficult puzzles and blind traps, I do like deaths in adventure games when done properly. I got into adventure titles through Sierra On-Line and the Space Quest games. Half the humor in the games were all the bizarre and amusing ways you could get Roger Wilco killed. The

That’s a shame. The ‘J-Pop’ scene was just one scene at the very beginning, and it was an impostor cashing in on Yuna’s fame. The main thing I liked about it over FFX was that it brought back the the more common battle style that most Final Fantasy games of the 90's used, and despite still not having a world map the

People also whined about X-2's all female cast back when that was new. People just like to complain, sadly.

I never understood the complaints about Ground Zeroes. Yes the story line portion was short. Kojima was clear up front that it was just a prologue.

I figure they’re both correct. It just depends on if it’s all caps. NES or nes

They’re both correct! it’s awesome that way. :D

XII was amazing! You can easily see how this combat system evolved from FFXI to XIII to XIV. The only downside was that the automation, while effective, was fairly useless until late game when you had all the elements to make it work well.

An NES game.... It’s initials, not a word. Looks right to me. I don’t think I’ve never heard anyone call it a Nes. Ness... Nope. Sounds wrong to my ears.

XIII would like to speak to you about the ‘black sheep’ status.

I love XII! But I have to agree that the environment design was very bland. Gigantic empty spaces are uninteresting.

I’m just waiting for the eventual re-release that includes all the DLC. Or a steam sale on everything bundled. I have other games to play in the meantime!

The sideways mounted hard drive bays and sound dampening were the biggest draws for me.

Sadly 1 and 2 are not. But 4, and the 3D remake of 3 are available on the Playstation store.

I’m not big on fancy cases either. My gaming machine is a good Lian-Li case. A matte black powder coated aluminum monolith that you wouldn’t even notice if you weren’t looking for it.

Final Fantasy IV looks even better, I think, and it includes The After Years and a unique (I believe) scenario set between the two games.

The PSP version (I’m not certain about the PS1 or GBA ports) use MP instead of number of uses.

The GBA and PS1 versions of Final Fantasy 1 (and 2, and 4) were great, but I feel the definitive versions of these games are the PSP releases.

This is a great step in the right direction. I feel the next step should be a way to penalize the 3rd parties for invalid or malicious claims.

I think the backlash is less about what kind of game it is than how long it’s been since Fusion and Corruption. (personally I liked Other M, but that’s another discussion) People have been primed for a new Metroid, not a spinoff.
