The thing that worries me is when the developers push Neo mode as hards as they might want to and only get 1080p/60FPS out of it. That same game would play on the older PS4s, but it would run horribly, or they’d have to degrade the graphics even more to maintain the frame rate. The people who’ve already bought the

Just like how you can still get Phantom Pain on the PS3 so you’re not missing out. But it’s technically a crappier experience. :/

Regarding the X and O buttons; in north america, we generally use checkmarks and X’s for grading or confirming things. In Japan they use O’s and X’s. Think back to this mini-game in Super Mario World where you hit three blocks in the correct order to get 1ups. Circles indicate correct choices.

I agree with you completely. It sucks all around. :/

Smoke or vapor. Either is chemical laden crap out of some douches lungs that I wouldn’t want in my air, on my clothes or on my skin.

Something like this caught me once on Steam. I contacted customer support about it and they had it sorted for me within a day.

I agree completely. I’m not condoning the piracy. I’m only pointing out that it should not be a factor of comparison against how well the game is selling.

Despite the unnecessary name calling, you’re making my point for me. They could buy the game but didn’t. They wouldn’t have bought the game even if they couldn’t pirate it, so virtually no legitimate sales have been lost, and the existing legit sales remain unaffected. Simply saying they could have paid for it does

I’m not condoning the piracy, but it’s a separate issue from sales.

Beat me to it! Crab Battle lives!!

I would recommend the Steam version simply to avoid touch controls and tiny screens. But if you own a Wii or Wii U, there is an alternative to consider. Go to the original Wii’s online store (load up the classic Wii mode on a Wii U) There you can purchase the original English SNES version via the virtual console.

I miss manuals. Especially PC games where you’d crack open a large box and disregard the disc for the moment while you looked at Manuals, guides, advertising, quick reference charts, maps (cloth if you were lucky), and other bonuses. It really turned getting a new game into an experience.

Most companies wouldn’t have said anything. Or have issued a vague blanket statement. Valves people would have had to sift through and crosscheck millions of IPs, confirm everything and get everything they intended to say cleared by their legal and PR people.

I wish they wouldn’t announce these projects until they were released. They may get a C&D, but then the project will be in the wild at least.

I wanted cookies...

I’m quite obviously using exaggeration for emphasis as opposed to vulgarity or outright rudeness. If you look back you might remember Valve issuing a press release about this to many news outlets within a couple days (as reported on this very site).

Fair enough. I’ll agree that overreaction is a better term. People expectations are unrealistic, and I think Valve handled this perfectly. Fixing it straight away and waiting for solid information before the press release and then finishing their investigation. Too many end-costumers assuming what should be ‘timely’

But that’s not enough for some people. ‘But I don’t READ news!’ ‘it’s a conspiracy!’ ‘They should have sent everyone a gift basket!’ ‘LOL VALVE SUKZ’ Grandmaster levels of entitlement...

They locked down the store and fixed the issue within a couple hours, told everyone what something happened via press statement within a few days when they had a preliminary investigation complete, and had already determined that nothing truly harmful had been leaked. Their PR and Legal departments rightfully wouldn’t

THANK YOU!! There’s far too much entitled ‘they should have fixed it, explained it, and sent us cookies within 30 minutes’ style whining on these boards.
