I remember only about 10 years ago trying to explain why watching a movie in widescreen wasn’t actually chopping the top and bottom off of the image on an old 4:3 CRT.

It doesn’t surprise me that bundle games are included. Nintendo still claims that Tetris on Game Boy, and Wii Sports are two of the biggest selling games of all time.

*looks at the headline edit* Looks like there’s no need to actually watch the video now. Thanks.

Hah!

And what if we live hours of travel away from a Gamestop/EBGames? Total BS.

No one learns. Did they not see the outrage over King trying to copyright ‘candy’ and ‘saga’?

They gave a decent in-universe explanation for the name on Star Wars Rebels. The designer called it a Bladewing.

Personal opinion. You said no several times, and I didn’t see any ambiguity or ‘playfulness’ in what you said and he started anyway. That’s rape. No way around that. Your reaction was not consent and I’m so sorry you had to go through that. Whatever the courts might say, you did nothing wrong and you’re allowed to not

It’s the wrong course of action because it was going to the store that was causing the problems. Shutting down the store in the middle of a sale during the holidays was a huge and risky thing that any other company would have likely debated for a day and a half before attempting. Valve couldn’t risk putting up a

Personally I’d rather wait for a proper explanation (as they did) instead of some half-hearted, meaningless ‘something happened and we don’t now what’ spin that tells the users nothing.

I’ll never understand how Valve, having the problem fixed within a couple hours, investigating what happened and telling the public the specifics without BS or pandering is still being considered ‘mishandling’.

That’s what a mod is. It modifies the game. Using a program to change the game to any extent is a mod whether it’s visual, audio, interface, core engine, texture, AI, gameplay, etc.

But can it run Crysis _1_ on max settings? I know I may be expecting too much.

I believe it was just announced for PC as well.

Sadly it’s not quite the same thing. On the PS3 it’s a system setting to filter/blur the entire screen. The PS4 copy is rendering the 3D elements at 1080P and filtering the textures, while the background elements are pre-filtered and saved to the game in this state. This causes some graphical anomalies that I find

I know that it’s preference, but I would like to be given the option in-game. Here is a simple comparison of screen captures from an unmodded Steam version, and the Playstation 4. Full size image

I cannot wait to play this again!

No server/system is 100% secure and 100% safe. Welcome to the reality of the internet. Blame the asshats that work to break things and expose this stuff over the people who work (over Christmas I might add) to fix it.

I don’t use Reddit either, but I found it via Kotaku, which is where usually get my Steam update news. Much like the announcement in this article.

So they gave updates, just not the updates you like. That’s pretty much the definition of entitlement.
