I was once behind a lady going to get her car washed. She failed over and over so hard at straightening her car out to fit in the tracks (even though it had a mirror guide) that I actually got out and got in her car and straightened it out for her. She literally said something like “they should take away my license”.

I assume they don't try this shit in states where people are allowed to carry guns. I haven’t heard anything about car salesman being shot and the shooter getting off because they were kidnapped. That’s all I can imagine happening around my way.

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind being falsely imprisoned by a car dealership knowing I can get $100,000 from a settlement. In fact, I welcome it. And many, many lawyers welcome it as well.

This all reminds me of one time I was talking to a couple of female colleagues about a sexual harassment seminar we had all taken - my comment was something to the effect of “I’m not perfect, but I’ve never had to say to myself, “no - don’t touch that woman’s ass’” or “maybe I shouldn’t invite that woman I don’t know…

This happened to me several years ago.

The customer then contacted Mr. Whitney’s firm and they were able to settle the case with the dealership for $100,000.

Either the old “oh, let me call someone to bring your keys back” trick or the old “oh this vehicle is blocking you in, let me get someone to move that for you” trick.
