In the live stream you could see it move when the silver truck pulls away. The last panel moved out to almost 90 degrees.
If I had hit a vehicle in the same manner, and tried to use the excuse that a normal driver would have reversed to get out of my way, and tried to impart some of the blame on the autonomous vehicle, I’d be laughed right out of the building.
This thing is bigger than it looks. It’s a tad taller than a high roof Sprinter which has a 6'6" interior height so you can fit a fridge in there. I’m not sure how you’d get it in though, without a ramp or lift gate.
