True! I didn’t mention it because it’s more of a concept vehicle. The whole sleeper compartment is just a shell over the hydrogen tanks. The actual truck started life as a Kenworth (does Toyota even make class 8 trucks in the US?) and didn’t even change it to look like any sort of Toyota.
Would you agree electric is the way forward and all that has to be worked out is storage? In that case I think it’s better they go Electric-only now, and work on lowering battery costs/advancing battery tech & capacity rather than stopgap measures like diesel/electric hybrids.
