Warning labels and regulations are written in blood. They are there because companies tried to hide shit or cut corners and people got seriously injured or died.

Well the “fiscally conservative” PC party did sell our vaccine production capability in the 80s - which would have been super helpful right about now.
My biggest concern with airplanes is how much air is recirculated - with the latest science showing that aerosolized transmission is a major vector. But I have the same concern with every building built within the last 50 years designed to be an air vault - especially where I live in the frozen wastes. Can’t just open…
Like Covid?
I’ve got an NVMe m.2 drive in my gaming PC - it does not load games as fast as my Xbox Series X. It’s faster than my old SSD was, and a hell of a lot faster than the spinning drives - but the Series X still blows it out of the water. I guess they are just heavily optimized on the console in a way that they aren’t on…
It’s actually a setting you can toggle between using the cursor and navigating like the controller is arrow keys in a menu.
If you do leather working - or anything you need to punch or set like snaps - you can do the same thing. Call a local stone counter place and see if they have any larger samples - we got a 10-15lb slab of polished marble for free about 10 years ago and it’s been way nicer then spending $100+ on a stone from the…
Then you find a big city police chief somewhere and have them get on camera and say “I wholeheartedly endorse this plan - this is a complex problem and we need better solutions.”
I think it’s less the adapter and more the PCIe 4.0 drive - those aren’t very common because they are still super pricey. $220 for a 1TB PCIe 4.0 drive is actually pretty decent in todays prices.
So you agree that people demanding rights being taken away from people (or not granted to them in the first place) is bigotry. Awesome! Welcome to the party.
Again, lots of people care. Just not you.
You know what, I’m cool with “not being a bigot” being a “purity test”.
Clearly lots of people care - just because you don’t doesn’t mean no one does. Like.. that’s not even a difficult concept to understand.
Nah fam - someone wants to be a bigot that shit should follow them until they publicly renounce it.
You really haven’t lived in an apartment with a shitty appliance? Or had a smoke detector go off every time a wave of heat hit the ceiling from heating the oven? Lucky.
“If it’s so bad, why are we just hearing about it now?”
I think these books gives men the language to discuss their lives that society (which yes, is run by men) has denied them. But conflating “men” (as in the power structure that society is built from) and men (as in, individual men) I don’t think is very helpful.
Cool story.
Weird how quickly they go to “Well I guess I can beat the shit out of you now”.
Cute that you think cops actually chase down “suspects” and solve crimes. Sure, sometimes they do but most of the time it’s “here is your police report, now fuck off”. Cops here can’t solve a murder to save their lives.
