Nearly every other country on the planet manages to provide better healthcare for cheaper per capita then the US. Throwing good money after bad is not a good enough reason to maintain the most expensive and inefficient medical system on the planet.

Might want to do some research. We have a progressive tax system too (way more progressive then yours actually). The poorest group of people don’t pay taxes.

I’m not sure there is a good way to reconcile “Knowing where your child is at all times because of GPS” and not making your child feel like they are under constant surveillance. I’d have had a far worse child/teenagerhood if my parents could have tracked me whenever they felt like it.
