Oh yeah, I’ve done it with soft drinks that have a straw. Push the straw through the ice and out the bottom of the cup. Then I’m sticky AND don’t have a drink.
Straws are instant polystyrene cup death. And, for good measure the straws always poke out the bottom of the cup so you lose everything.

My biggest concern with stryofoam cups has always been that it’s really easy to accidentally put a finger through the cup. When it’s full of coffee that is decidedly bad!
Hospitals triage. It’s not unheard of for people to wait 4+ hours in US ERs either. And most of the wait times come from conservative governments gutting healthcare spending because they want to bring in privatized insurance.

Try looking up QoS quality of service. It still exists. And must for the internet to function as it does today. Also, it’s very expensive to impliment end to end in a network. Yet some technologies like Netflix demand it. They mostly get it and pay nothing for it
