In a tactical shooter, having to find answers to something and change your approach to overcome certain tactics is not bad.

Even with the characters all bundled up for winter the jiggle physics are still active.

Wow! Alienware? Warner Bros?

aw yeah gurl

I don’t even see the “ethical high ground” here. Calvin didn’t use force to take back the truck not because it would have been morally wrong to do so, but because he couldn’t.

I find the disparity between the font resolution and everything else to be intensely triggering.

Video games were a mistake.

I had just been thinking how weird it is that Dark Souls 3 didn’t seem to have that one obligatory counterintuitive mechanic that makes no logical or gameplay sense, but there it is, right on cue!

Professional films run at 24fps, but home video runs at 60. That’s why higher frame rates look cheap or wrong when it comes to cinematic stuff, you mentally associate it with your crappy family home movies and low budget TV.

holy fuck

That thumbnail honestly looks like Rick Astley glued a load of extra hair to the back of his head.

8.8?

Came for the ethics, was not disappointed.

Does this mean the shambling corpse once called Bullfrog can finally be laid to rest?

There have been good video game movies

I think it’s the wide-set eyes. He looks like he was born with a congenital deformity.

Snivy, aka Smugleaf, was by far the best starter in that gen.

If you’re talking about Havel in Dark Souls 3, he has the same non-functioning “poise” as the player. If he’s not winding up an attack (his weapon has hyper armor during its swings which would be the case even if he were naked) or under the effects of the stone flesh buff he gets stun-locked just as easily as anything.

If there’s no benefit to wearing full Havel’s besides taking a little less damage then it shouldn’t require you to dump an absurd number of levels into an otherwise useless stat just to wear it.
