Yeah, he and his team just got completely shut down by Minnesota Duluth in the final. Not the most compelling case that he’s just going to breeze into a series against the #1 seed in the West.
As noted in the linked article, it looks like he’s taking the place of an injured guy. I think it’s more surprising the NHL lets guys who haven’t played a minute all season make the postseason roster.

Now seeing that Bernazard owns the MLB record “since 1974" which is a different thing. He didn’t debut in the majors until 1979, not sure exactly when the record was set. His 1984 was pretty putrid.
There’s only one Tony Bernazard that I’m aware of and 1974 was his first year in the minors. Assuming the record that keeps getting referenced was set in the minor leagues (he played Rookie and A ball, according to BBRef, with a .284 OBP in about 380 PAs)?
