And who exactly dictates what is and isn’t within impulse buying range?

As for my side tangent I should’ve used a different example. Forget about the dancers.

Fair enough.

Another good example between the delineation of average user versus hobbyist, is news. Do you keep up on the industry? Watch gaming events like E3 that show off new games? Read gaming news? If yes to any of those then you’re most likely a gamer because you don’t just check out what’s on a shelf, you know more about

You act as if $250 is incredibly expensive. If people were fickle with money then Apple wouldn’t be so successful when their products over-priced, especially compared to their competitors.

“It showed that people wanted 1:1 hand controls”

The same could be said about serving alcohol though. One might feel pressured to have a drink, even if they don’t want it, because everyone else is having it and they’ll look/feel like a “square” if they don’t.

The industry has been trying to make VR since the 80's... the only reason it’s come back now isn’t because of how popular the Wii/DS were, it’s because only NOW do we have the technology to actually do it.

“twerking next to you”

No, “dicks” is fine. No one care when you use male genitalia as an insult but if it’s a woman’s, Oh lordy lou, do you know how many women you just oppressed from uttering that word, shitlord?

Go to a gaming event where Just Dance is set up.

It would probably be seen as funny and there wouldn’t be a fuss over it. In fact, some people getting mad at this would probably say male dancers are fine.

Plus, gamers and game developers are two seperate groups. There’s probably more female players then there are female developers, and this event is only for developers.

Who said they’re barely legals? It doesn’t list age, and an outfit isn’t an indicator of that. And who says they’re all 40 year olds? It’s an event where people are trying to get jobs in the industry. That’s not exclusively veteran developers.

Don’t you know? It’s only bad when men like it.

Could you also just say that it’s a party and you don’t have to go to it? It’s not like that’s what’s going on during the day when they’re passing out resumes and exchanging info.

Hey hey hey, I’m paying good money. Give me my second scoop of Raisin Bran... dick.

Your game sucks and you know it sucks, give it up. The only person who’s caused their company damage is the company/owner themself who keeps pushing this battle rather than shutting up, and letting it slide and have people forget about you.

I think you mean the lack of favourable reviews.

What about Yokai Watch? It’s not exact but if you did an exact replica the one with seniority is going to win out for a multitude of reasons. Yokai Watch has that “caputre, battle, evolve” core aspect to it with its own twists to make it unique (even if I don’t really like it).
