I always mashed the A button. I think by Diamond/Pearl I stopped because I realized it did nothing.

I’m guessing OP’s friends message quite a lot and he/she just wants to play single-player games some times. I only have one friend I play online with but sometimes I’ve had to say no because I just wanted to play something by myself. If you have enough people messaging you a lot I could see it getting annoying.

Still though, how was it not a top priority after launch? You have this platform you’re pushing as a social experience and take 2 years just to see if your friends are online, hah.

In a convention with lots of people, I doubt you’ll be cold. Also I’m assuming they choose to wear this during warm months. I doubt anyone would wear something like that during Winter.

That’s odd. Wasn’t one of the launch trailers for the PS4 showing your friends with their real names popping up? I mean, the PS3 had a notification when people logged in (I’m pretty sure, it’s been a while) so to not have that at launch is pretty pathetic.

Ariel would actually be the best one. You sit on a wagon and some chump pulls you around all day! It’s like being a kid again!!

Don’t do this in NA yet, I don’t have the money to buy one yet! ...or a PS4 but those things won’t go out of stock.

The art style reminds me of old LucasArts games like Day of the Tentacle.

Based on what exactly? Tin foil hat speculation? It makes no sense. The games sell better in the West than in Japan, it’s to their benefit to sell it stateside. It’s not even being sold on the US digital stores.

Your point was that Tecmo didn’t release the game in the US because it feared media backlash, but still released it in the US anyway. That is certifiably false. Yes you can buy it on Play-Asia, if you get some Chinese version or something with English subtitles. But Tecmo still backed out of bringing it to the US,

Or even better... The Statue of Liberty, haha!!

History would be much better with mechs... also more apocalyptic.

That DOES sound hilarious though.

What? They didn’t release it in the West, Play-Asia is just selling a version that has an English language option. The game won’t be available in stores in North America physically or digitally.

I don’t think Minecraft can cry “rip-off” when it was technically a rip-off of something else. Forgot the name but it looked more like a rip-off than these other rip-offs.

Most game buyouts I see aren’t usually good, or at least by big studios. “We’re going to cancel you after 1 or 2 games even though you would’ve lasted longer without us”.

Wouldn’t it equal itself out though? Like, if you issue 10% more shares, the shares become 10% less valuable, so it would take the same amount of money to earn the same percentage in the company, correct? That’s assuming their stock doesn’t drop or raise by a large margin in that time frame.

I think he’s saying that if the Guillemots leave, then whatever big series they’re apart of will fall in quality and damage Ubisoft, and then the brothers with make their own studio with possibly a similar style and do it better, eating up their market. Although some might say damage has already been done to Ubisoft

It wouldn’t, and Pikmin 3 was great with it too... but I’d trade those features for a console that developers would’ve/could’ve supported and would’ve been able to compete with PS4/XB1 without be buying a new console.
