Oh, and I grilled a spatchcocked chicken tonight. Shredded the thighs, mayo, onion, greens, on a great baguette. It was book group night at our house - I was happy to be in my own little universe away from that.

Look up Bobby Flay's meatloaf with the balsamic glaze on food network. I cooked it on the grill with a bit of hickory. It was excellent then, but the sandwich today...unbelievable.

Goldendoodles are the Stepford wives of dog breeds. BTW I put our Springer down at 6 years because she totally whacked out on me(scars on my hand) and I didn't feel like paying for reconstructive facial surgery for the next kid who stopped by.

My Irish uncle had a (we think) Great Dane/yellow Lab mix when I was a kid. A fantastic dog.
