The difference between this and Non Nocere (which I will forever think of as No no cherry) is that the spell was a temporary thing that wasn’t meant to overwrite people’s personalities. It was also the only way they could top Kara’s Big Damn Hero Speech to everyone hooked up to Obsidian North.

They took the same approach as Superman: The Animated Series when it came to space, and Kara needed a special suit to function in a vacuum.

The finale was missing a shot of a pair of red boots, I'll grant you that.

You will never, in a million years, convince me that this was Rovner and Quiller’s ideal plan for the final season. In my head I think they were expecting to go for at least another season past this one and all the stuff with Kara taking increasingly more and more drastic, and unpopular, measures to fight Nyxly was

But Cat was much more important to the history of the show, so if the choice was either Clark or Cat the show made the right decision.

The Ever Fallen in Love cover on that album is so good.

It was a minor plot point in season one, when Kate to decided that the corporate focus should be on rehabilitating low income neighborhoods in Gotham.  then season two had too many other things on its plate to really be concerned about WE.

Lena and Andrea had a few video calls in the episode where Lena went to Ireland Newfoundland to research her mother.

My guess is they shot all the stuff in National City at the start of the season while Benoist was on maternity leave, and then had Benoist film her Phantom Zone stuff when she got back. Which is why she’s flat not in the time travel two parter. However I haven’t read anything that confirms that.

Iirc at a minimum Cindy’s killed all of her parents, but there were certainly extenuating circumstances in all of those cases.

they film in Atlanta, but same difference.

Here lies William, he never learned Kara was Supergirl. I was, btw, fairly convinced Esme was going to spill the beans to William about Kara’s identity, but I guess that’s moot now! The show never quite figured out how best to use William, though baking buddy was probably the closest they got in that regard.

Frenemies is just the best possible name for the third season, love it. And Keith David as Director Mister Bones is chef’s kiss perfect.

“Tell Peter Jackson no more chickens. I ate four this morning.” is such a funny line.

The show’s creative team tried to claim there were story reasons behind the decision to let Routh go (and they weren’t wrong that Ray had basically exhausted his arc, and the nature of the show is a continual cast churn), it was also blatantly a money decision from up on high. Routh was an OG cast member deep into

The majority of the Berlanti DC shows have had some form of behind the scenes toxic behavior. However, the people in charge of Legends seem to have their heads and hearts in the right place, and aside from the exits of Routh and Purcell, they run a happy ship.

I know they were going for a Batman style disappearing act at the end of the scene with Cindy and Yolanda, but I desperately wished we’d seen Cindy dive headfirst out the window in the background,

The anti-Kryptonite suit without the helmet is a better costume than her current everyday Supergirl suit.

I legitimately thought Lex’s “I’ve been to the future,” bit was just an elaborate scheme on his part to get closer to Nyxly. So it turning out to be true felt like the writers just spun a big wheel marked “How Lex spent the bulk of the season.” Always good to see my man Otis though.

Yeeeaahhh, Jakeem, buddy, we need to talk about your comedy idols.
