Black Lightning also has some pretty impressive needle drops, maybe even better than Stargirl, so it can be done on a CW show budget.

Batwoman had the 2nd or 3rd best ratings of any CW show last season.
Why does a bullet to the brain kill a zombie? Jiaying’s power requires an instance spinal column to work, makes sense to me.
While I appreciate the show getting back on its Hydra and Inhuman bullshit for the run up to the finale (how many episodes are left, I thought the trailer for next week said it was the penultimate episode, or is it the antipenultimate?), yeah, I am just not feeling Nathaniel or Kora. I’m also a touch annoyed that…
Oh i remember Endless Eight. That was some serious commitment to A Bit.
Has there ever been a bad time loop story? I cannot for the life of me think of one. God this episode was great, although it got dangerously on the nose when Enoch said it was the last mission the team was every going to go on.
Court yelling cousins and giving Henry Jr a bear hug was some powerful Kara Danvers energy.
Okay, it should be against the law to have Dichen and Enver in an episode and not have them share any screen time. That was bullshit. Everything else was pretty fun, except for Nathanial, who’s just a massive dweeb and I can’t wait to see Daisy push his weaselly face in.
I’m mildly bummed they couldn’t con Amell and Haynes into posing for that picture of the Seven Soldiers, or even having their faces photoshopped in but that would’ve been a bit much.
The phony bad tracking was a nice touch though so I'm glad they stuck with vhs.
At first I was bummed that they only played a snippet of Don’t You (Forget About Me), and then they came back from the ad break and played the whole dang song. That alone makes this an all-timer for me. Then the battering ram of 80's riffs, and their own version of Fat Thor just put it over the top.
No doubt, no doubt, but I feel it’s a safe bet that Vancouver will be in a position to allow production to safely resume way before Georgia is.
CW bought swamp thing so they will have something to air in the fall. It’s a stopgap and nothing more.
I think at the moment the rona is the biggest stumbling block to filming in Georgia
Oh of course, I knew she looked familiar.
They zephyr had already made a jump when Mack and Deke got out so they aren't in 76.
This was a strong reminder that while AoS can do goofy with the best of them, its real strength is putting its characters through a chipper shredder. Yikes. That being said, the episode also kept up the pastiche theme of the season by have a definite 70's paranoid thriller vibe throughout.
Gambi on Black Lightning is very much a mentor figure. As has Thawne at various points on the Flash. Would Yao Fei or Slade count on Arrow?
Considering that it’s trivially easy to remove those now let’s call it intentional.
It’s too bad they didn’t keep the 70's era cinematography they used in the opening establishing shot. There was a lot I liked about the episode — those jumpsuits were snazzy, but it did feel a little frantic, and the Chronocoms are verging on being a little too overpowered a threat for our intrepid shield agents.
