I liked the episode well enough, continent destroying tsunami is an appropriate threat for a Kryptonian to deal with.  Seeing Phil Lamarr get a live action gig is always welcome, but maaaaaan is William a drag.  No offense to Staz, but that character does not work; he runs entirely too hot and cold.

Dodgson, as in Lewis Carroll’s real name.

The kid playing Beth did one hell of a job, kudos to her.  And I thought that mention of an Arkham breakout was an Elseworlds reference.

Making the outcome of the show hinge on four three characters we have no attachment with always felt weird. So having the true experiment secretly revolve around Team Cockroach makes a lot of sense.

Except I think that the show was siding with Simone over Eleanor and Michael. After all, Bront only seemed to show growth when he did face pushback

Yeah Malcolm was Thea’s first trainer, I honestly thought that was going to be Thea’s “I’m not left handed” moment in that fight with Talia.

I had no idea how much I missed Thea being done with everyone’s shit, but holy shit did I miss Thea being done with everyone’s shit. She was my personal TAMVP.

“My enemy is death” is the worst/best line in the history of the show. I thought on the whole this was a fun little almost gothic horror Halloween episode, and the mopey stuff bounced off my for the most part.  That last scene with Barry and Joe on their version of the Balcony of Deep Thoughts however, that was good

Yeah, the problem with show’s talking up a character’s writing ability is that invariably it can’t then back up those claims, and when they try it’s just painful. Now to be fair, any reporter who broke the story that Lex Luthor had compromised the president of the United States would win a Pulitzer, but still it's

I feel like it was a reference to the time Pete whatshisname was Vice President, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, this was just a solid episode of superhero television, not a mind blowing experience, but a good hang, and honestly, that’s all I really want out of my cape stories so good job show! We’ll just not talk about how amazingly ropey those cgi explosions looked, woof.  Also, keep letting Rachel Maddow be Kate Kane’s

Cloak and Dagger was Legion if it wasn’t getting high off of its own supply. what a great under appreciated show.  I'm going to miss it.

They totally went back and ADR’ed in that line about Foles breaking his clavicle.

I dunno, Sherloque grew on me as the season went along.

Didn’t Earth-2 Sara die with Oliver on the Queen’s Gambit? Which drove Quentin into a depression that got him killed and caused Laurel to move to Central City where she got caught in the particle accelerator explosion?

it’s a joke.

yes, i somehow forgot Mirikuru because i am dumb

Ah damnit, that’s right Season 2 was Mirikuru bullshit.

It sure looks like each episode of this season is going to be centered around the show’s history — Last episode was season one, the Hong Kong stuff tonight season 2, going after the League of Assassins next week season 3, etc (the showrunners might also have said as much in the run up to the season, I can’t remember).

Ralph and Cecille is one of the show’s most reliable comedy generators. I especially liked Cecille’s quip about the height difference between her and Ralph.  Also, the zombie being named romero was a really nice touch.
