Given parts shortages from the pandemic and the lack of an urgent need to release a next-gen Switch (Nintendo made a ton of money on Switch sales last year), Nintendo seems to be taking an incremental update approach to the Switch hardware.

There is no doubt that Nintendo is working on the next-gen Switch. Perhaps

“...sometimes stuff that’s fun isn’t always the most successful.”

My speculation: Not enough page views (people seeing ads) compared to hosting the base-64 encoded images. Generally, large images encoded in base 64 end up being 1/3 larger in file size compared to just serving the binary file.

It’s easy to back up individual files, but backing up the site, including the software that runs it, is arguably harder. A website at scale usually requires what is called imaging, which copies not just the files, but the software that is running the site and the filename and file structure. When a site needs to be

My educated guess is Kate “Davis” Higgins, who sang in Super Mario Odyssey. The voices are very similar to me.

Can Nintendo file for a garnishment on Storman’s bank accounts or assets to get the money?

I agree that a properly emulated port would be fine for many players. Get M2 to work on the emulation.

In this regard, Square is like Nintendo: Both are slow or hesitant to make old games available to modern consoles.

The FF I-FF VI series is the one area where Square Enix doesn’t seem to know how to get right. Whoever is making the decisions doesn’t seem to want to use the HD-2D engine, or they are milking the series as long as possible.

I think the only way Square Enix is going to understand this is for DQ III HD-2D to sell

I’ll take a wait-and-see approach.

These conventions will attract attendees from the vaccinated and unvaccinated population, so there is a risk. I learned that PAX West will operate at reduced capacity, which helps, but I don’t know if their venue has adequate ventilation and cleaning procedures for that number of

Wizards is unlikely to let players play as their branded characters through a story. They keep a tight leash on those characters and want to be able to dictate the narrative for them. MTG Arena allows you choose their branded character as the player avatar, but there is no story component.

None of the spin-off games that aren’t focused on the card game mechanics seem to have been commercially successful. By commercially successful, I would mean that it was popular enough to either have the press talk about its success or talk by players.

Wizards might be better off focusing on the worlds of MTG and

Thanks for the history of the shipping prices before and after the Ever Given incident.  I didn’t know shipping costs were already on the rise before the Ever Given.

Kinja does need to be fixed though!

So, this article is your “hard launch” of yourself. The past two weeks were your “soft launch” and getting your bearing on the site again.

Your goals are admirable and I wish you luck, since your G/M owners may think otherwise.

I wonder if there is a market for paid video game writing like what the old Deadspin guard

Did the Ever Given debacle also contribute to sea freight price increases?  That disaster delays shipments worldwide by at least a month.

There is a 22-minute video documentary by Bright Sun Films that talks about the Queen Mary debacle, which also has ties with the sub, since they are both part of the same property.

I had to look up Tenya Iida. I haven’t watched My Hero Academia.

My avatar is actually Shiroe from Log Horizon. He and Tenya seem to have some similar personality characteristics.

I don’t see a link to the product listing in the article.  In case anyone wants to see the reviews and product.

These are some of the better 3D tales games I have played or heard.

Tales of Symphonia
Tales of Vesperia
Tales of Beseria

Most Tales games have no relation to each other, although some Tales games are sequel/prequels to each other. Tales of Beseria is a prequel to a game that was released earlier (but that other game

My comment is not intended to be racist. There are many examples of Japanese business culture where some Japanese companies don’t always take actions that might seem most profitable or that might help customers, from the perspective of people outside Japan. My comment does not mean every Japanese company behaves this

Nintendo is a very Japanese company. It does not appear to be just Nintendo, but a lot of Japanese companies. I see similar behavior from Japanese camera and electronics companies. In that industry, they stick with the same sales tactics and iterate the electronics to have more pixels or more/better technology XYZ,
