If I say your name three times in front of the mirror do you clean my house?

Bad, but amazingly so. And really, nobody was noticing her acting in that particular scene.

There are plenty of YA horror novels we could pull from, but the lure of cashing in on a proven property with nostalgia value is pretty strong and as long as the tactic makes money it will continue. Maybe remaking this one will prompt producers to look at some of those other YA horror novels I read in my youth and

Thank you for being the only one to bring up generics without being an ass about it. :)

Yes, they don't work as well, and that's really not the point of the comment.

Do they seriously think making some BC available OTC will really get them off the hook? Many many women have contraindications for the most common types of birth control pills. Making birth control available without a prescription will in all likelihood just make it harder for these women to get birth control at all

I definitely need to seek out more of her stuff. I LOVE Boom Clap. I could listen to that song on repeat ALL DAY.

my boy with the day-glo orange and robin's egg blue shoes is glad of this recent trend as well

YES. This. Totally.

It's really interesting to see just how individual kids will react to those social cues. I was one of those "I HATE PINK!!" girls, and for very similar reasons to what you've described. I couldn't have told you my favorite color when I was five, but could sure tell you which color I didn't like.

What IS valuable about observing children is that you can see how early we push girls toward a feminine ideal and boys toward a masculine one, and how guilty we all are of confirmation bias that whatever girls do directly after we push them toward doing it, is suddenly proof of their innate nature. Same with boys.

I have little doubt that he does this. He seems like the kind of dad who would be a bit goofy with the stuff his kids like, and just be encouraged by their embarrassment.

oh, so pretty!

Share pic? Sadly, I have too much hourglass going on to carry something like this off.

In fact, I DID know that. But I never had you figured for a Doors fan.

LOVE THIS. LOVE. Sadly, it would not love my body....
