I do not understand how car companies spend billions of dollars and man hours on research and development of their product, yet they allow the customer experience at the point of sale to be such a shit show.

I used to have a Geo Storm (Impulse sibling) that I proudly drove like it was tuned by Lotus; nearly dying at 30 mph on every grocery run. It was years later that I learned that the Isuzu’s suspension was not included in the badge-engineering.

That’s what I told a dealer when they refused to allow test-drives on the car I ended up buying (from someone else).

I must’ve played the original a dozen times over the years, but at this point I would love to see an FFVII Remake-style attempt. KOTOR was groundbreaking and contemporary at the time and now it just... isn’t. I want to play it with modern mechanics, see what the actors can do again after 18 years of experience…

Let’s keep at least a couple of Mitsubishi icons on hold until they’re capable of doing them justice. We’ve already seen enough Eclipse and Lancer crossovers lately; I’d hate to see what their current interpretation of the Evo or VR-4/GTO would look like.

Normally I wince every time a surprise-update gets posted, knowing I’ll have to wade into config settings and .ini files to make the framerate playable again, but...  wow, the DLSS just *worked*.  Framerate was screwed on login, but once I enabled that it was smoooooooooooth.

The bewildering mash-up of Metroid+bullet-hell was more than my brain could process and it was the last game I remember the whole family teaming up to figure out.
