I did the same with a freebie code in an RTX card. Come back in a couple of years, maybe? The flying is fun (until the fun-meter overheats, anyway) but everything else is just paper-thin. After about 5-6 hours, I was done.

Anthem still has players?

Awesome article/video! I would maybe retitle it: “Here’s Why All F1 Drivers Except For Grosjean Don’t ....” because of course Romain managed to write off a car (behind the safety car - bonus!) because he hit the wrong switch.

Smash that Like button, but not Jenson!

I wonder whether they’re releasing it as the “Master Chief Collection” on PC or selling each ‘increment’ separately?

YES!

Lindley told Car Throttle he doesn’t think it’s a bad thing that Mitsubishi has such a performance- and enthusiast-oriented past compared to its modern SUV reality, since having an established company fanbase is good when “those type of customers drive other vehicles as well.”

So much this. Uninstalling and walking away from Anthem has been liberating!

Sunk cost fallacy is a hell of a drug.

Now that Mitsubishi’s abandoned the segment of drivers with a pulse, I guess it makes sense that they wouldn’t bother licensing their products. It was starting to send the wrong message: “Hey, look how great we aren’t anymore!”

If Bioware’s defining Live Service games as an ongoing story with lots of DLC (Witcher 3?) then that’s great, as that’s pretty much what DA:O and DA:I were already doing. If they’re shifting to grindy, forced-multiplayer nonsense-storyline games like Destiny/Division/Marathon(?), then that’s a real waste of Bioware’s

Spoiler alert: Tesla and every other carmaker will continue to put responsibility on the ‘driver’, even at autonomy levels 4 or 5. Why would they ever take on that liability when they’ve invested so many resources into their legal teams & government lobbying?

I want Anthem to succeed so that BW can make other games in the future, but this looks and sounds exactly like a boring Destiny spinoff and Destiny 2 has already cornered the market on boring Destiny spinoffs.

That’s weird, I didn’t realize that FCA was into profits. Has anything from Alfa ever made money?

Porsche makes SUV-overs so they can afford to go racing and make sportscars. Mitsubishi just... makes them. ‘90s Mitsu is dead.

Ugh, I know right? Learning stuff is such a pain!

He’s got to replace his apex seals between every customer, so yeah... $950/day seems legit! ;)

I’d love to see what more racecars could do without series regs! It’d be interesting to see how competitive a modern hybridized F1 car would be with the wick turned up.

I bet that they’re targeting disposable incomes in China (and to an extent the UK, but does “Mondeo Man” even buy cars anymore?) with the expectation that Americans don’t buy small cars. Which is fine, since Toyota & Honda have been owning that segment anyway.

That’s a really healthy reminder! I wish that stories regarding Kickstarter projects were a bit less effusive considering the odds of big projects making it to market.
