These tiny F-35s looked like F-14s at first, and then I was sad.

Guess who came to visit vault 717 yesterday?? I’m a little afraid to send her out on patrol, but so far she’s been willing to loan out her T-51f suit and Vengeance laser to more adventurous/expendable scavengers.
Neat! I didn’t realize that the software allowed for refueling yet. I thought that it’d be in Block 17 or something.
I was really expecting to see Evos (8s it 9s) all over Ebay for under $15k, but the 20s still seems pretty common for them. Neat!
Like this. The Russians & Chinese sure didn’t invent harassing intercepts; we just didn’t hear all their squeaking in the news when we did it to them.
I’m confused about Gene’s endgame here. Given that the sport isn’t getting any cheaper and the last 3-4 teams have spent fortunes just to survive (or not), then what does success look like for him? Survival and maybe a handful of points in the next 5 years? Does having an F1 team that merely survives move the needle…
Army Ants and/or Battle Beasts for sure!
It wouldn’t a great value to invest in more legacy hornets instead of ‘rhinos’ anyway. The E/F might not be as quick or as pretty, but it does the same job better in other respects.
This past year at the Miramar show, someone in the diamond briefly disappeared for a few maneuvers and then returned in the two-seater. Never heard what happened with that, but it was pretty ominous to see the diamond turn into a V.
So in addition to being famous for losing a fight to a blind man with a stick, running his jetpack into a giant flying barge, and falling into a carnivorous hole, Fett now also has the distinction of losing a fight with a padawan by getting hit in the head with a rock?
Hahaha, nice!! I’m glad that some good came from the Bradley, if it confused Russia into building them too.
Oh, Russia’s got their own flustering cluckage when it comes to 5th gen fighters.
The 512TR was responsible for turning my head petrol when I was a kid. I saw one recently, and its presence was still incredible. Even the cheese-graters had aged well!
I can’t beat 1/400 from the factory, but considering the longevity of Mazdas in the wild and that there were only 1243 usdm 323 GTXs in the first place, I bet that this comes close!
You could even turn around and accuse the Mitsubishi-branded sibling of not being especially Japanese, considering that it had torque and traction; something that was notably absent from their rivals at that time.
I’m going to go out on a limb here and nominate two of the three Diamond Star Motors triplets. Yes, it was partly badge-engineering, which is VERY American, and yes, the best bits came from a Japanese rallybox. But Chrysler deserves some serious credit for deciding to build eastern-inspired/derived turbo rallyboxes to…

I’d love to see a spin-off sequel to AC4, exploring what Anne Bonney got up to in the Jackdaw after Edward settled down. All the piracy, none of the assassin nonsense!
