Although the T-14 may look impressive even considering how little we know about it, the Universal Combat Platform concept is even more interesting in that it aims to create on common base for a whole array of heavy tracked combat vehicles. Beyond the T-14, these include a heavy infantry fighting vehicle (called

Cool. My family didn't really need to set up, update, or download any games for our brand-new PS4 today anyway.

I learned to drive in my mom's Cressida wagon (same year, I think) and it was just so rad. A separate button for everything, and those velour seats were barcalounger comfortable. Yeah, it was heavy and kind of a barge, but "heavy and bargelike" in the 80's and 90's could easily be a compact today.

RWD cars explore their limits of traction in a flashy way that's fun to watch and fun to pretend to be good at. FWD cars explore their limits of traction from the barriers or a ditch. The rest of us lunatics explore the limits of our AWD cars from upside down in a tree or lake or something.

Meaning that he tuned Elise variants for 26 years?

Looks like a good time for the Millens to badger Mitsubishi to get back into rally! They could definitely use some help with getting a new Evo platform together.

I'm not sure whether or not they were billed as M3 killers, but boy do M3 drivers get aggro whenever I drive my IX around!

I grew up on airshows in the 1980s, and count myself lucky to have seen both the F-14 and F-15C demos in those glorious days. Although modern hardware should have moved the game on, they've lost the visceral daredevil nature that made the old shows great.

Relax, guys. They'll release Street Fighter 5 Turbo Ultimate Arcade Championship Edition in 6 months and that one will be cross-platform.

TMNT: Sewer Shenanigans ... why wasn't EVERY ninja turtle game named this!?

I was so hoping that the failure-mode showed him accidentally punch himself in the face, or something.

Best of all, it'll only cost $100m per shot, and the onboard software will be terminally stuck at 60% complete.

I like how this bit here looks inspired by a Mitsubishi product getting rear-ended by a competitor's (faster) product.

When an Evo owner's Advans start reaching the 10k mark, this is something that s/he gets deeply familiar with. ;)

I can't think of a better example of this than the Berlinetta Boxer. Yes, it does that '70s-'80s Pininfarina thing and mashes up wedges with curves in a way that you might think is pretty delightful...

Wouldn't it be cool if you could just spec out the model and options that you wanted, then pay a car company to make it for you based on the value of the product? Super weird, right?

Most dealers' own websites try to sell customers on WTF options to get them onto the lot, then price them up based on availability. That's negotiation 101 in this industry.

Theoretically, yes. But before it got to that point they'd probably have a heck of a time doing so, and then we're getting into Poison Pills and legal battles and all sorts of fun. And if it gets to that point, we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

Omigod, for the longest time I had NO IDEA that you could increase power to your weapons, and believed that once you ran out, you were out for the mission. Those first few levels were a nightmare of counting shots and then resorting to head-butting TIEs to finish them off.

Everything about that^^ makes me so happy.
